Educational Activities/Events/Milestones
All the children were promoted to the next higher grade in Indian Springs School, Gollapudi and NRI Junior College in Kanuru, Vijayawada.
Twenty students appeared in SSC (10th class) exam and all them scored 8.5 and above grade points, on a scale of 10. Nineteen of them joined in Junior Intermediate, continued as residents of the Ashram and are attending their colleges as days scholars. Six are attending Sarada college, eight are attending NRI and five are attending Narayana college.
On June 10th all the children came back to the Ashram after the completion of the summer holidays.
Special congratulations to Ms. Tirumala for being the topper in BDS First Year (Bachelor in Dentistry) in Andhra Pradesh and Sindhu who passed in distinction, while Jhansi and Bhuvaneswari of B.Sc. Nursing secured good points.
Congratulations to S. Bhoomika for scoring 10 points in senior Intermediate and getting admission to B. Tech at NRI College, Guntur.
Three students V. Naveena, S. Mounika and V. Sowjanya got admission in BBA degree at CHINMAYA VISHWAVIDYAPEETH UNIVERSITY, Kerala in the month of July.
Congratulations to P. Likitha for scoring 10 points in Junior Intermediate. Three other girls got above 9 points and the remaining six girls scored good points.
Six children left Ashram on their own accord, while we admitted seven children – Yamini L.K.G., Maheswari U.K.G., Bhavigna and Sowmya Lakshmi of 1st class, Bhavya, Sri Lakshmi, Rishitha of 2nd class.
On August 9th a live fund-raising program was conducted in a grand way.
In the month of October all children went to their guardians homes for Dasara vacation. And they returned to ashram after the vacation.
In December, Bhagavath geeta competitions were held in ashram and few children got prizes in internal competitions. P. Varshitha Geetanjali got 3rd prize in District level competition.
SCPCR member Padmalatha garu and other CWC members from Guntur visited Ashram in the month of May.
Mrs. Sujanana Rani and Mrs. Bharathi, CWC directors from Guntur and Ongole respectively visited CV and reviewed our documents and interacted with the children. The feedback was positive and recommended some record keeping changes, which were implemented.
Covid Effect:
All the children were sent to their guardians (except one) as recommended by CWC and Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Examinations:
11th and 12th graders completed their exams before they left the campus.
Campus Maintenance:
30 KV solar system was installed at a cost of 12 lacs.
Repairs for bathroom leak were completed and lock were repaired.
Bathroom doors and windows were repaired and re-painted.
Donations in India
Notable donations this period are:

- Navin Charitable Trust donated Rs. 50000/-
- Karma Strategies PVT LMT. donated Rs.82000/-.
- Sridhar garu donated mini bus to the Asram
- Sri Siva Rama Krishna garu, friend of our tuition master Vijayamohana Rao sir, donated note books to the children
- The management of Coastal bank visited the campus and donated Rs 2 lacs to CV.
Every month Crane Nut Powder donates 200 kgs of rice to ashram.
Camps and Cultural Events
On 21st April K. Sudha garu celebrated her son Rudheer’s birthday by sponsoring school uniforms and distributed pens and biscuits.
On May 3rd J. Chittemma sponsored 25 kgs rice.
On May 5th Mukkamala Krishna Rao garu celebrated his birthday by cutting the cake.
On 24th June K. Garudachalam garu donated fruits to the children.
On June 30th S. Sri Lakshmi garu conducted Dosa camp in our Ashram.
On 14th July 2019 children celebrated the Birth day of Dr. Apparao garu, founding Trustee, and they were all happy on the occasion.
On July 27th Mithin Mantena, grandson of Narasaraju garu visited ashram.
On 28th July Sri Siva Rama Krishna garu friend of our tuition master Vijayamohana rao sir, donated notebooks to the children.
On 31st July Lawyer Satyanarayana garu friend M.Vijaya garu donated Pomegranates to the children.
On August 10th S. Venkatarami Reddy garu donated lunch.
On August 25th Mr. & Mrs.Ramesh garu (from PF office Guntur) celebrated their Silver jublee function along with all the relatives and friends. They arranged special breakfast, lunch and snacks. They conducted many competitions, cultural programs and encouraged children by giving prizes to them. They distributed water bottles to all girls.
On September 16th BJP National Secretary, Satya Kumar garu’s birthday was celebrated by his staff.
On 19th M.V.Murali Krishna Garu celebrated M.V.Madhavi’s Birthday and provided breakfast and snacks.
On September 23rd Karthik celebrated his father Sanjeeva Reddy’s birthday by distributing bananas, samosa and cakes to all the children and Jayarama Reddy garu celebrated birthday.
On September 29th Chalasani Ravi garu and family sponsored special lunch and ice cream to all the children.
On 21st October A. Boya Raju celebrated his son Sai Venkata Kumar Birthday and distributed apples and snacks.
On October 22nd Shaik Johny Saheb garu along with family members celebrated his marriage anniversary and distributed special snacks to all the children.
On 23rd October K.S.Sampath Kumar sponsored snacks in celebration of their daughter’s birthday.
On October 26th Amazon company sponsored apples, sweets, biscuits and oranges to all the children.
On December 18th Seeko Biotics Jaya Rami Reddy garu gave Medicine to the children.
On March 3rd Madhavi garu sponsored biscuits to all the children and Dr.Sridhar garu donated bananas.
On March 15th M. Pardhasaradhi garu donated guavas and corn to all the children.
On March 16th G. Srinivasarao garu donated 100kgs rice to Ashram.
Dr. Basaveswara Rao & Mrs Tulasi Yalamanchili of Chicago, donors of CV visited the campus and blessed the children.
Balavihar MY BIRTHDAY GIFTS camp ran from 1st May 2018 to 5th May 2019. Children were given School bags, snack boxes, panties & petticoats, socks, etc,. Balavihar camp was organized by Swami Suveeranandaji along with Syamala garu and other team members from Mumbai. A workshop was also conducted where the children were trained in making pav bhaji and chaat. Organizers of the camp were felicitated on the 4th.
Swami Suveeranandaji organized Pujya Gurudev’s birthday celebration on 8th may and all the children and the staff of the ashram joined enthusiastically in the
celebrations. They sang Hymns in praise of Pujya Gurudev.
Children Celebrated August 15th Independence day at NRI School, Gollapudi.
On June 21st few MBBS students from Guntur Medical college came to Ashram to educate about hygiene.
On 2nd September celebrated Vinayaka chavithi festival.
During Dasara vacation children arranged the traditional Bommala Koluvu.
On 27th October celebrated Diwali Festival
On November 14th children celebrated Childrens’ day at school and got the prizes and participated cultural activities.
On December 15th all children enjoyed the Movie at PVP mall along with Sumathi Amma.
On 31st December all girls enjoyed the new year party at River house along with Sumathi Amma, Apparao Sir and their grand children. All girls had special dinner and had fun by playing TUG OF WAR.
On 1st January children celebrated new year.
On February 2nd Ramu garu’s birthday was celebrated and distributed chocolates.
Pongal festival was celebrated in our Ashram.
On February 16th Blood Test camp was conducted by staff of Aayush hospital.
Children were taken to the Sivalayam Temple nearby to get blessings on the Eve of Mahasivaratri
Staff Changes:
Mrs. Rajyalakshmi resigned as manager of CV and. Mrs. Kalyana Sastry was appointed as manager of CV (she need to take charge). CCMT has deputed Mrs. Vijayalakshmi to CV as spiritual guide and mentor to CV children.
Brahma Vrinda:
Sri Saratchandra Shrikande, a world renowned mathematician and resident of Brahma Vrinda (senior citizens centre) for nine years passed away peacefully at the age of 103 years.
